Following the highly successful launch of the official Yamaha Monster Motocross Team for the 2008 season, Yamaha will be releasing a very limited number of 2009 specification YZ450F Yamaha Motocross Team Replica machines for sale to privateer motocross riders.

During 2008, the Yamaha Monster Motocross Team has proved to be the most competitive outfit, and on Sunday 14th September, David Philippaerts won the MX1 world championship in his first season on the factory YZ450FM. Despite an early season injury, Josh Coppins secured a strong 5th place overall in the MX1 series, making it a memorable season for the team.

As well as being the leading force in MX1, the Yamaha Monster Motocross Team can also claim to have the hottest looking bikes on the track. Their classy black livery always stands out amongst the chasing pack, and gives the factory bikes a unique and stylish image. In response to immense interest from fans and off-road riders, Yamaha will offer the official YZ450F Yamaha Motocross Team Replica as part of the 2009 Yamaha Off-Road model line-up.

Developed in co-operation with Yamaha Racing and the Yamaha Monster Motocross Team, the exclusive new YZ450F Yamaha Motocross Team Replica is based on the 2009 production bike. A limited supply of just 100 units of this new machine will be built solely for the European market, and they will be equipped with a range of special chassis parts that are the same as those fitted to Yamaha’s MX1 factory racing bikes. With its special black-coloured bodywork and trick carbon fibre components, this new addition to the Yamaha YZ line-up has a truly exclusive look and a class-leading specification.

    I have just got my self a 2009 yz 450 and changed to black plastics im after a sticker kit and i love the monster energy kit on David Philippaerts bike how can i get one or are thay for sale could you please help me out.I LIVE IN ADELAIDE IN AUSTRALIA
