Lavilla to contest 2009 WSBK with the Pro-Bike Honda Team
Following a lot of speculation about the racing future of Gregorio Lavilla - Bikerholic is pleased to announce that the Pro-Bike Honda Racing team has secured his services and experience to contest the 2009 World Superbike Championship.
The following is a release from the EICMA show where the news was officially announced;
Pro-Bike Honda, headed by Ing. Marco Nicotari, will field experienced rider Gregorio Lavilla in the 2009 World Superbike Championship.
The team was launched at the EICMA Show in Milan, on the Marchesini stand, as Lavilla and Nicotari signed their contract, and sealed the deal by applying Lavilla’s trademarked number 36 to his Honda Fireblade.
