I'm happy with my Honda SH125i except for the mirrors which only allow me to see my elbows/arms. They are next to useless & I can't find any solution other than to make my own. This will mean cutting the plastic handlebar cover but my safety comes first.Honda have been spectacularly unhelpful & disinterested. My only conclusion is that they only design for their home market and erroneously assume that we in Europe are as diminutive as their japanese clients.
I don't understand why scooter & motorcycle magazine writers never spot this serious shortcoming on such a simple but essential safety device. Do they actually get on the machine & ride it ? I have my doubts. I'm 5'11" tall & 14stones so not abnormally large.
