British 125GP: Team Repli-Cast Sign Ian Lougher For Last Two BSB Rounds
Repli-Cast UK Racing Team field Lougher and Hornsey for Silverstone and Oulton
This weekend sees the Repli-Cast UK Racing Team racing at Silverstone, in the penultimate round of the Relentless 125GP British Championship.
Ian Lougher will be joining the team for the last 2 rounds of the championship. Ian is well known in the paddock, and has several wins at the Southern 100, Northwest 200 and the TT under his belt.
Another rider to make his debut for the team this weekend is 15 year old Sam Hornsey, Sam is currently running 2nd in the Thundersport GP3 Championship.
They join regular riders Adam Blacklock and Kasey Wyatt. Unfortunately Robbie is out racing for the remainder of the season due to a back injury he sustained whilst leading the race at Croft, Robbie will be out testing as soon as he is fit. Get well soon Robbie!
Lougher, who competed on a Yamaha TZ125 at Scarborough last weekend, is well-known for his successes at the TT and in Ireland on both two-strokes and four-strokes, and also runs the Blackhorse Yamaha squad.
“Ian and I go back a long way, and during a conversation at Scarborough at the weekend, Ian mentioned he would like to do the last two BSB rounds on a competitive bike. With Robbie being out for the remaining rounds due to his injury, I offered Ian the ride for Silverstone and Oulton, I am really looking forward to working with him again,” said team boss Gary Dawson.
“Young Sam Hornsey has impressed me from the first time I saw him racing at Thundersport, I offered him a ride within the team, not only due to his talent, but also because of his manners and his determination to succeed, which is what I look for within a rider. We welcome them both to the team.”

Friday – Free Practice Sessions @ 11.20 & 15.25
Saturday – Qualifying Sessions @ 09.00 & 14.10
Sunday – Warm up @ 10.15 and Race Start scheduled for 14.50
