BikerHolic announce new dedicated bike racing site – BikeRaceNews.Com
BikerHolic have decided to launch a brand new dedicated motorcycle race site to add to our coverage of biking news.
Although BikerHolic will still cover the main results and reports from most track sports, we have decided that due to the demand for bike sports related articles, that it was best to separate the categories and produce a specific site to cover the news in much more detail.
So how does this affect BikerHolic?
The separation of the “in depth” Sports News from the site will allow us to concentrate on new model release news and gossip concerning the general biking scene, while still producing the final race reports that our readers expect to see on the site.
This in turn will result in better topic coverage for both sites.
Together with our independent forum, it will bring our internet coverage up to three sites in total.
Nigel Tasker – Senior Editor:
“We are delighted to have the new site, BikeRaceNews.Com in our portfolio. Bike Race News because it will allow coverage of the race reports and gossip in much greater detail than previous”
“In addition to the home based (UK) race classes, we will be giving a lot more priority to reports and news from the support series of all the sections currently covered by BikerHolic”
“The site will have three editors on hand 24/7 to ensure that we can do our best to publish the reports as soon as we receive them and gain a foothold alongside the bigger corporate sites, while still remaining totally independent.”
The Site editors are..
Nigel Tasker – Senior Editor: Covering British Superbikes, Road Racing etc..
Sam Steele – Section Editor: Covering MotoGP, Moto2 and support series
Sardev Singh – Section Editor: Covering World Superbikes and support series
“Bike Race News has been in development for some time now and is the culmination of the hard work that has been put in to make BikerHolic one of the leading biker sites worldwide. Because of this, the anticipated move to the big league should be so much easier. Using the knowlege and contacts gained during the development of BikerHoli.Com, we will be hitting the ground running with a complete, top quality site that is user friendly while still managing to look professional.”
“Take a look and give us your thoughts, your feedback is crucial to allow us to tweak the site to suit its main audience.”
“We look forward to providing a top quality online race magazine that will be of interest to all people.”
Bike Race News is currently looking for a volunteer editor to cover the North American race scene and would suit someone based in the U.S.
This would suit someone with a passion for racing and will allow them to learn the skills of running a busy section on a popular site, which, in turn will provide them with a solid background for the future should they wish to run their own site. Very little knowledge of HTML is needed as the site runs on a Content Management System.
If this is of interest to anyone, please contact us at BikeRaceNews.Com and tell us a little about yourself – We look forward to hearing from you.
