TCX release details of their 2011 motorcycle boot range
This week TCX launched their 2011 boot collection to UK media and TCX stars. Whilst making some ascetic changes to current products within the range the Italian boot firm (formally Oxtar) unveiled a new motocross boot, as well as new additions to their touring and all user lines.
The off-road range welcomes the new Pro 2.1. Created to resist extreme conditions in motocross the Pro 2.1 is the utmost in technology in the TCX off-road range; with the latest in off-road T.C.S® (Torsion Control System) and a highly breathable anatomical inner bootie. Meanwhile the popular Terrain 2 boot has undergone a re-vamp with new protection, fastening buckles and internal features.
TCX’s touring line has three new additions with the X-Action waterproof, X-Miles waterproof and X-Five Plus Gore-Tex boots. The X-Action is suitable for almost any kind of riding with a shorter length for warm days and a waterproof liner for those rainy days. The X-Miles waterproof is a new look boot, suitable for different types of bikes and riding styles with high protection, easy fastening and aggressive design. An evolution of the X-Five Gore-Tex the X-Five Plus Gore-Tex offers optimised protection with a new outer shield in the ankle and shin area, a larger shifter pad, and a differently designed sole for maximum stability.
Two new boots join the all users collection; X-Ville waterproof and X-Ville air. The X-Ville waterproof and air offer the user a motorcycle boot which can be worn in the office or around town once on the ground, with the differences being one has a waterproof membrane and the other has classic Air-Tech lining making it completely breathable. While the Urban boot has been adapted from its 2010 model to include a waterproof membrane and has received a complete make-over.
The top of the range S-Race boot has be joined by a Gore-Tex version. By adding the waterproof membrane users will benefit from all the features of the traditional S-Race boot but the gore-tex membrane gives the boot maximum waterproof ability and breath ability.
